INSPIRED BY ORGANIC SIMPLICITY

I have always been inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. His designs, many of them influenced by the forms in nature, solve complex design problems using a simple but well-thought-out aesthetic. Wright's ability to design buildings and spaces that were (and are) a part of their environments, even as they stand on their own, is masterful. His work is as appropriate and relevant today as it was during his time, and it has influenced my design style and philosophy in many ways.

My desire to create spaces that are an integral part of their environment goes hand-in-hand with my philosophy that interiors should be tailored to meet the needs of the people who live their lives in them. That sounds simple enough, but many times designers focus on creating grand design statements rather than beautiful, comfortable places that reflect their occupants. I believe a well-designed interior incorporates valued possessions and showcases items that are special and meaningful, rather than bringing in decorative pieces just for the sake of design.

Creating interiors that enhance and improve people's lives while reflecting who they are is an important focus for me as an interior designer. My belief is that every project -- no matter how big or small, whether it is simple or elaborate, has a big-budget or tight-budget -- deserves great design. This premise is the guiding light for me at MH Interiors. I invite you to look into more about how I can design for you and look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
